One of the key focus areas of Home For Every Child is supporting families to be the permanency that kids who are unable to live with their biological families need.

We can't do this without the support of the community.

Partner with us to equip foster, adoptive and kinship families with the resources they need to thrive and take care of their kids over the long-term.

Family Support Grants

Partnerships with private donors and corporate sponsors allow us to provide this important avenue of ministry to vulnerable kids and their families. As such, our ability to say 'YES' to families' requests depends on the level of support that we receive during a given season. The purpose of our family support program is to assist families in overcoming the barriers to accessing the needed services which enable them to care well for their children over the long term. The mandate of our charity is to support children with 'special needs' and 'families of moderate means.'

Family Support Grants for the first half of 2024 will be directed towards Canadian adoptive, foster or kinship kids/families requesting help accessing:

  • Assessments

  • Counselling (experienced in supporting kids and families who have experienced adoption, foster care, and childhood trauma)

  • Respite

  • Caregiver training & capacity building resources

Our support grants operate under an 80/20 support model where we will partner with families seeking support to cover 80% of the cost of the services they are requesting. We want families to be empowered, invested and to take ownership in accessing their family's needed services.

Family Support Grant Applications will only be accepted through THIS online form [Coming VERY soon].
Printed, mailed or emailed copies will NOT be accepted.

Applications must be complete in order to be eligible for review.

Applications will be reviewed monthly by our board and approved based on the needs of the child/family, financial need of the family, discernment of our evaluation team and funds available to say 'YES'.
